The Westonka Alpine Ski Team showed strong efforts at the Section 6A Tournament Feb. 6 under very warm conditions. Both the White Hawks girls and boys teams finished in sixth place.

Mound Westonka High School senior Marshall Morrison qualified as an individual for the MSHSL Boys Alpine Ski State Meet. Morrison finished 12th overall at Sections to punch his ticket to state. Also advancing to state as an individual was Emily Gustafson from Waconia High School.

The 2024 state tournament will be held Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Giant’s Ridge in Biwabik. Find more information on the MSHSL website.
