2017 Mound Westonka High School graduate Liz Schepers helped Minnesota win the first-ever PWHL championship on Wednesday night, May 29. 

The former White Hawk scored the first goal of what turned out to be a 3-0 victory for Minnesota over Boston in the series-deciding Game 5 of the first-ever Walter Cup Finals. This historic win came two years after Schepers led the Ohio State women’s hockey team to its first national championship.
