Finley then earned a personal best time in the 200 IM, placing eighth overall.

Sophomore Eren Alemdar took to the pool to swim the 50-yard freestyle, coming in with a personal best time and taking sixth place overall. Sophomore Sean Dolder took fifth place in the 100 Fly, followed by sophomore Wyatt Helms in sixth. All eight Westonka swimmers participated in the 200 Free relay; one squad took fourth place and the other took ninth place overall. Dolder was back in the pool for the 100-yard backstroke with a personal best time and coming in third overall. Shaw earned a personal best time in the 100 Breast and took seventh place. The final event of the evening was the 400 Free relay swum by Bryce Helms, Wyatt Helms, Alemdar and Dolder. They placed fifth overall. (Due to MSHSL co-op rules, Westonka is relegated to swim JV/exhibition at West Metro Conference meets).

The White Hawks would like to congratulate their Orono teammates for taking fourth place overall at the True Team State  Class A meet held at the University of Minnesota.

Next up for the White Hawks is the final home meet of the season on January 25 versus St. Louis Park. This is Senior Night, and the team will be celebrating an outstanding high school swim career for senior captain Bryce Helms.
