Mound Westonka High School had 18 students compete at the MSHSL Section 2AA Northwest Subsection Tournament on March 15. Of those, 12 students in 10 entries advanced to the MSHSL Section 2AA Section Speech Tournament, which will be held April 9. Three MWHS students were subsection champions in their categories: seniors Izzy McCullough and Ella Walters in Duo, and junior Ilana Andrev in Informative.

• eighth-grader Emilia Andrev - 5th in Storytelling
