Gymnastics Team Takes First at Watertown-Mayer Invite

The defending state champion Watertown-Mayer/Mound Westonka gymnastics team took first place at the Watertown-Mayer Invitational on January 8.

The defending state champion Watertown-Mayer/Mound Westonka gymnastics team took first place at the Watertown-Mayer Invitational on January 8. The home team earned a total score of 146.25, followed by Stillwater (144.35), Dickinson - N.D. (141.150), St. Peter (134.35) and Forest Lake (132.9). 

Mound Westonka High School junior Reagan Kelley took first place in the All-Around competition, taking the top spot on beam with a 9.7 and bars with a 9.1. 

MWHS ninth-grader placed first in the JV  All-Around and first on JV beam with an 8.9.
