Hutchinson, MN — The Westonka–Holy Family Girls Swim & Dive team delivered another commanding performance this week, defeating Hutchinson in an away meet that showcased both depth and determination across the roster.

The meet opened on a high note as the 200-yard medley relay team of A. Navidad, R. Betts, L. Hendrickson, and B. Treacy surged to a first-place finish. Later in the night, the 200-yard freestyle relay squad of R. Betts, L. Hendrickson, M. Dongoske, and C. Gadtke also touched the wall first, highlighting the White Hawks’ relay strength.

In individual events, Westonka–Holy Family showed its balance across every stroke. Junior Laney Hendrickson swept the 200- and 100-yard freestyle, while fellow junior Rachel Betts captured titles in both the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard butterfly. Junior Charlotte Lake outpaced the field in the 500-yard freestyle, and junior Chella Patterson powered to the wall first in the 100-yard backstroke. Sophomore Mia Dongoske added another victory for the White Hawks with a strong swim in the 100-yard breaststroke.

The team also made waves on the diving boards. Junior Bailey Monette not only earned first place but also set a new school diving record with her performance. Senior captain Erica Johnson followed closely behind with a strong second-place finish, providing critical points that solidified the team’s overall victory.

The win reflects Westonka–Holy Family’s rising momentum early in the season. With confidence high, the White Hawks will look to carry their success into upcoming meets, continuing to demonstrate both leadership and depth throughout their roster.
