Fresh off their Tim Daly Invitational win, the Westonka-Holy Family (WHF) girls swim & dive team carried their momentum into their first dual meet of the season, defeating Dassel-Cokato in impressive fashion.

The 200-yard medley relay team of J.Juras, M. Dongoske, I. Starr, and L. Hendrickson captured first place, while the 200-yard freestyle relay of M. Dongoske, B. Treacy, R. Betts, and L. Hendrickson also took top honors.

Several standout individual performances helped secure the win. Charlotte Lake claimed first in the 200 individual medley, Mia Dongoske sprinted to victory in the 100-yard butterfly, and Rachel Betts outlasted the field in the grueling 500-yard freestyle. On the boards, diver Bailey Monette shattered the pool record with her winning performance.

“Our first dual meet of the season was a lot of fun,” said head coach Ben Hanson. “There were some exciting races, and it was great to see swimmers trying new events. It sets a positive tone for the rest of the season.”
