As the new soccer season kicks off, the White Hawks girls team is showing resilience and growth despite facing some losses in their opening matches. Both the varsity and JV teams remain optimistic, focusing on improvement, teamwork, and the valuable lessons each game brings.

Despite a slow start, the teams are already exhibiting excellent teamwork. JV took home a win against Zimmerman in their second game, with goals from Phoebe Osborne and Tiffany Johnson. Isabella (Zee) Harrell-Latham has scored against Waseca and Big Lake, gaining an early lead in both games. New players have come in strong in all positions, including skillful defense from Addy Gringle, and Amelia O’Halloran has stepped into the goalie position for the first time on the JV team.

As the season progresses, the hope is that the hard work and perseverance will pay off, leading to more wins and, more importantly, a deeper understanding of the game. The teams are in good hands with Coach Adrian for Varsity and Coach Carissa for JV.
