The White Hawks Nordic ski team raced at Hyland Park Reserve on January 17. With hard-packed, man-made snow and 10 degree temperatures, the girls varsity team battled to place fourth and the boys finished sixth.

It takes physical and mental toughness to successfully climb the Boulder Ridge slope on this course. Junior Isaac Hays led the White Hawks boys with a 14:54 time, followed by fellow juniors Miles Lund (15:27) and Luke Carlson (17:02).

Senior captain Averie Zealley finished first among the White Hawks girls with a time of 17:11. Junior Stella Miner (18:08) and sophomore Ava Daum followed (19:11).
