The Mound Westonka Boys Lacrosse have had some memorable games in the last few weeks. On May 11, the White Hawks played a long, hard fought offensive and defensive battle against Chaska. The team ultimately fell to the Hawks, 9-10, in the 4th overtime period. 

They bounced back the next week with a big 12-6 win at conference rival Delano, with junior Max Anderson netting six goals and senior Scott Greenshields continuing his outstanding play in the net. 

The White Hawks pulled out a 12-5 win over Providence Academy for Senior Night on May 18. The eight seniors on the team include Jack Peterson, Mason Evenson, Scott Greenshields, Ethan Garlock, Drake Whitmore, Matt Oko, Adrian Overbo and Jacob Trost. Senior team managers are Kendall Schissler and Hannah Hunter. 

Regular season play concludes this week with big conference matchups against Southwest Christian and Holy Family. The team is aiming for a Wright County Conference title, competitive play in the Section 2 playoffs and continued success on the field and in the classroom.
