The Westonka Speech Team invites you to Spotlight On Speech, a showcase of student performances, April 5 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Mound Westonka High School English Commons area.

These Westonka Speech students in grades 7-12 have put an incredible amount of hard work into their speeches for competition, logging 123 individual awards over 17 tournaments this season! They will perform their speeches in small groups, similar to how they compete in a tournament setting, allowing you to see several different speakers and different styles during this event. Each small group of speakers will cover a wide variety of speaking styles: entertaining or educating, self-written or published, scripted or extemporaneous.

This event is free and open to the public. Donations are accepted. Please join us April 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the MWHS English Commons for a truly inspiring event!
