The Mound Westonka High School Hawkettes Dance Team is once again headed to the state tournament! The varsity kick team was named Section Champion at the 3AA Dance Team Tournament on February 5, and the varsity jazz team took second place. This will be the Hawkettes' 16th consecutive trip to state.

The state jazz dance tournament will be held at Target Center in Minneapolis on Friday, February 18. The Hawkettes take the floor at approximately 2:48 p.m. The Class AA jazz finalists will be announced and will compete at 7:15 Friday night.

The state high kick tournament will be held at Target Center on Saturday, February 19. The Hawkettes take the floor at approximately 3:12 p.m. The Class AA kick finalists will be announced and will compete at 7:15 Saturday night.

All ticket purchases are online. General admission tickets for the tournament can be purchased at www.mshsl.org/tickets ($17.50 for adults and $11.50 for students, including taxes and fees). Masks are required at all times for spectators inside Target Center. Please review the MSHSL spectator guide for more details.
