The victory earned the team the title of Section Champion and a trip to the state tournament. The last time MWHS competed at state was in 2014. Coach Rob Paul said, “I’m very proud of how the boys played throughout Sections. They put in the work ahead of time and were committed to play at their best, and it showed on every court. Their challenge now is to maintain that level of intensity throughout the state tournament.”

The Class 1A State Tournament will be held at St. Cloud Tech High School with team competition June 8 and 9 and individual competition June 10 and 11.

Good luck to the team and go White Hawks!
